I made this the other night and Matt couldn't stop eating it..neither could I..oops. Had to do a few extra miles at the gym but so worth it!! This recipe is SOSOSOSO good. The first step is to put your cutest apron on, always. :)
Margarita Pizza
Pre-made thin pizza dough (if your feeling extra domestic, homemake it!)
mozzarella cheese
fontina cheese (MUST)
feta cheese
parmesan cheese
roma tomatoes (3-4)
1/4 cup olive oil
fresh garlic minced (2-3 cloves)
bruschetta
fresh basil
Pre heat oven to 400 degrees
First slice up tomatoes. Then marinate them in olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic cloves for 15 minutes.
Brush the crust with tomato marinade making sure the fresh garlic is on the crust as well. Spread a thin layer of the bruschetta over the olive oil.
Throughly cover the dough with mozzarella and fontina cheeses (fontina is very creamy and delicious, also bakes really nicely)
Place the tomatoes over the cheese and cover with parmesan, feta and fresh basil chopped up! sprinkle salt and pepper over the top also! (I know feta sounds like a weird addition to the recipe but trust me...it's bomb)
put in the oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown on top! This is seriously to DIE for!!!! Enjoy!

Sorry this is the only pic I got before we devoured it!! |
I made steak kabobs yesterday and they were really yummy. Red meat is a little harder for your body to digest so we try not eating it too often but I wanted to try this marinade I found, I tweaked the recipe a little bit and we loved it! Here it is:
STEAK KABOBS
top sirloin steak
sweet bell peppers (red, orange, yellow)
onion
cherry tomatoes
mushrooms if you want
marinade:
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup worcestershire sauce
2 cloves of minced garlic (fresh)
pinch of garlic salt
pinch of dried basil and parsley flakes
pinch of salt and pepper
(any other spices you want to throw in)
Combine all the ingredients above, mix well.
BEFORE marinating, cut up steak in cubes for your kabobs. This will allow more of the flavor from the marinade to soak up in the steak! Marinate for as long as you can. I marinated ours for 24 hours.
Assemble kabobs how you like and grill till desired temperature is reached! I like my steak medium so I cooked them for about 5-8 minutes on each side.
